Grant
Grant's journey through Co-Living spans 2.5 decades, including experiences in communes, co-ops, and intentional living spaces. In 2017, he launched his Co-Living investment and property management company, leveraging OPM (other people's money) and syndication strategies to build his real estate portfolio without using his own capital.
Achieving financial freedom within 15 months through Co-Living houses, Grant has consistently satisfied his investors, private lenders, staff, & renters. His unique blend of communal living and rental investment strategies makes him an expert in the field.
Grant developed the first Co-Living training course in 2019 and has authored several books on the subject. His properties maintained a 97% occupancy rate even during COVID. Committed to guiding others, Grant helps navigate the complexities of Co-Living investment and management, ensuring success and avoiding common pitfalls. He lives in the Colorado Rocky Mountains with his wife Sarah and their children.
Jaci
Jaci is a seasoned professional in the real estate sector, specializing in the co-living space with 10+ years of experience. Without her, Grant nor Livingsmith could have succeeded. Her extensive journey encompasses roles as tenant, live-in manager, property manager, investor, and even setting up multiple Co-Living houses from scratch. With a knack for Co-Living property assessment, underwriting, and creative financing, Jaci has been instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities. She played a pivotal role in developing the Co-Living Gold Standard. Jaci's multifaceted expertise ensures a comprehensive approach to creating thriving Co-Living environments.
Her expertise extends to operationalizing innovative projects beyond real estate, such as directing operations for Cricket Farms with high-efficiency farming techniques. Jaci's career also includes almost two decades in healthcare software IT, demonstrating her adaptability and proficiency in managing complex systems.
An active member of several mentorship groups including Pace Morby's SubTo and Gator, as well as being a certified Top Tier Transaction Coordinator, Jaci is committed to both personal and community growth within the real estate sector. Complementing her professional pursuits, she's a certified dog trainer and an enthusiastic partner acrobatics practitioner, reflecting her dynamic interests and dedication to continuous learning and development.
Harmony
In 2021, Harmony became Livingsmith’s head property manager. Due to her impossible-to-over-estimate contribution in developing the property management aspect of The Co-Living Gold Standard, she earned founder-status with Livingsmith’s property management company. Since Harmony has joined the staff, she has taken it to new heights in serving investors and renters. Her Co-Living property management acumen may possibly be without equal on the planet, and she is a sought after consultant in both co-living in general and soberliving, a niche form of co-living.
Harmony has been deeply involved with Oxford and other sober-living housing since 2018. Her dedication to recovery and wellness is further demonstrated through her work as a recovery coach and peer specialist, with Colorado Agency for Recovery Residences certification obtained in 2021. Her commitment to supporting individuals on their journey to sobriety is a cornerstone of her professional identity.
Harmony has a magnetic personality underpinning her unwavering commitment to nurturing supportive communities. As a head Property Manager, Harmony is pivotal in providing renter support and training new property managers. Her work vividly demonstrates a profound dedication to creating spaces that facilitate healing and empowerment.
Andrew
Andrew Lewis serves on the Livingsmith Board of Advisors and is a full-time realtor and investor. His career in real estate began in 1999 while working in construction, giving him diverse experience in both residential and commercial projects. With a certification in Industrial Arts, Andrew has developed a sharp eye for properties, seeing beyond curb appeal and asking the right questions to guide investors in making the best decisions for their situations.
In 2018, Andrew became the realtor Grant most trusted to buy his co-living properties, and seeing Grant’s success, he started investing in co-living properties himself. Today, Andrew consults fellow realtors and investors on identifying and acquiring the best properties for co-living.
His hands-on experience includes purchasing and renovating two fixer-uppers and owning several rental properties. As a Realtor and Certified Negotiation Expert, Andrew leverages his extensive knowledge and dynamic range of experience to serve his clients. His thoroughness, hard work ethic, and joy in tailoring action plans to each client’s needs make him a realtor every investor should have in their corner.
